Stainless steel body and unbreakable polymer glass base.<\/p>\n
But the attention to detail does not only lie in the beautiful exterior design.<\/p>\n
Inside, it features a stainless steel shaft, crank, and bearings.<\/p>\n
The bearings are micro-ball and made of martensitic stainless steel.<\/p>\n
They are highly nitrogen-rich and resistant to wear.<\/p>\n
These conical burrs are strong and very sharp.<\/p>\n
The Comandante C40 MK4 Snow White manual grinder can handle any grind, from Turkish coffee to French press.<\/p>\n
The perfect grind varies not only according to the brewing method but also to the type of coffee. Here are some general recommendations from the manufacturer.<\/p>\n
First, adjust your grinder to point 0, which corresponds to the completely closed position.<\/p>\n
To verify this, hold the grinder horizontally. If the burrs are open, you will notice that the handle moves and falls to the 6 o’clock position. As you gradually close the burrs, you will adjust the grinding levels. Point zero is the tightest configuration, where the handle stops falling (for example, starting from 9 o’clock). In this position, the burrs firmly hold the handle (if you tighten more, you could reach settings -1, -2, etc., but it is not necessary to apply too much force). The numbering of clicks to adjust the grind always starts from point zero.<\/p>\n
